Vaishali is realising her dreams with Specsavers Audiology

At Specsavers Audiology, we believe in celebrating our talented Partners and their remarkable journeys. Meet Vaishali Varsani, one of our newest Partners at Specsavers Clarkson and Butler in WA. With her background, passion for audiology, and commitment to customer care, Vaishali brings a fresh perspective to the Specsavers team.
From Kenya to Australia
Vaishali’s story begins in Kenya, where she was born and raised to immigrant parents from India. Her pursuit of higher education led her to Australia at the age of 17 and she completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Curtin University and achieved her Masters in Clinical Audiology from UWA.
Audiology wasn’t Vaishali’s initial career choice. It was during her gap year in Kenya when she volunteered at local hospitals that the seed of interest in audiology was planted. The significance of hearing care and the associated stigma piqued her curiosity. Four years on, Vaishali has not only discovered her true passion but has also fallen in love with the field, seeing it as her life’s work.
Building a thriving Audiology business
As the daughter of a businessman, Vaishali always aspired to run her own business. When she discovered the opportunity to become an Audiology Partner at Specsavers, she leaped at the chance. Aligning with her values and approach to customer care, Specsavers felt like the perfect fit.
For Vaishali, customer care is paramount. It involves educating her customers and providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions about their hearing health. She believes in empowering her customers to take charge of their hearing needs.
Before joining Specsavers, Vaishali knew the Specsavers brand for its exceptional customer care and high-quality services and products. However, what stood out the most was Specsavers’ transparent and affordable hearing aid prices.
Now as a Specsavers Audiology Partner, Vaishali is responsible for two audiology locations – Clarkson and Butler. “The highlight of joining Specsavers has been the personal and professional growth that accompanies running my own business,” says Vaishali.
She expresses her gratitude for the unwavering support she has received from the Specsavers team. “From the comprehensive training to the support from the team, Specsavers have provided me with tools and practices for a strong start in my business.”
Vaishali is excited about increasing awareness of hearing loss and providing affordable hearing care to all and encourages fellow audiology professionals to explore the opportunity of becoming a Specsavers Partner. “The robust support system and business structure set Partners up for success in both audiology and business ownership,” she says.
“Being a Partner is challenging, it pushes you out of your comfort zone and most importantly it helps you grow. If the idea of running your own business excites you, consider joining as a Specsavers Parter, you will not regret it!”
