Specsavers Audiology turns one!

Specsavers Audiology celebrated its one-year anniversary recently, with partners achieving some remarkable results, raising hearing health awareness by screening more than 70,000 Australians and providing access to affordable products and services to more than 4,500 customers.

Specsavers Audiology Executive Director Darrel Magna said partners had worked hard to shift the focus from product sales to customer needs.

The anniversary, at the end of August, aligned with Specsavers celebrating two other key milestones recently – the opening of its fiftieth audiology business with its thirtieth partner.

Darrel gave thanks to all the audiology partners who had joined the growing network.

“Reaching our one-year anniversary provides us with the opportunity to step back for a moment and take stock of what has been achieved,” he said.

“We have more than fifty locations already open and we already have audiology joint venture partners signed up for the next thirty or so.

“Ultimately, it says a great deal about our partnership model and how it is resonating with audiology professionals in Australia and, in turn, with Australians.

“Each audiology partner who has joined us, each audiology business that is now up and running owes so much to the hard work of passionate professionals who have committed themselves to making a change in this industry.

“With new stores opening every week, and with conversations with talented audiology professionals still taking place, I am looking forward to building further momentum in our rollout – and into 2019 and beyond, to the day when we are in every Specsavers optical business.”

Specsavers opened its first Audiology store on August 29, 2017 at Runaway Bay in Queensland with partner Andrew Fraser. To date, more than 80 stores have been taken across Australia.

With more optical stores being prepared for audiology across the country every week, it’s the perfect time to get in touch and find out what is available in your preferred area.
