Regional Queensland growth = second partner

1 July 2022

It’s been almost three years since Rebecca Moriarty joined Specsavers Audiology as a regional partner at the Mackay Canelands and Cannonvale, QLD stores. She is now setting the wheels in motion to bring on a second partner.

Rebecca’s growth plans were set early on when she opened the Mackay Canelands store back in 2019, knowing that she would later open her second store and bring onboard another clinician soon after.

“My stores have gone from strength to strength, and while I’m enjoying the busy days, I’m excited to bring on another clinician to help support the stores and take them into the next growth phase,” says Rebecca.

While Rebecca’s enjoying the lifestyle in regional Queensland, onboarding an employed clinician or partner will mean she can expand access to audiology services in her regions and see more customers, giving them access to top of the range products.

Rebecca’s ideal person would be a driven professional, motivated to grow both teams while focusing on providing excellent customer service and clinical support.

“I’m looking for someone who can improve customer’s auditory rehabilitation journey and strive for greater client outcomes,” says Rebecca.

Rebecca has attributed the success of both stores to the support she’s experienced from the local communities, which has resulted in steady customer growth.

“Both stores have grown to be an integral part of the local community. It’s been great to see the increased demand surrounding audiology service delivery in both regions.

“The positive customer feedback and word-of-mouth referrals have been a constant since opening the stores.

“Customers experiencing Specsavers audiology for the first time have been pleasantly surprised by the high clinical standards and affordable quality products,” adds Rebecca.

Rebecca has enjoyed working with like-minded individuals who are passionate about changing the experience for customers.

“It’s been nice to see that Specsavers doesn’t just put their values down in PowerPoint slides. They truly hold them at the forefront of every decision they make,” says Rebecca.

Rebecca has grown as a person and a partner with a Specsavers partnership.

“At first, I thought the focus on my personal growth was to ensure the business succeeds, but it’s more than that. Specsavers genuinely cares for their partners.

“Now that I have established both stores over the past few years, I look forward to sharing this success and continuing to grow with my new partner,” says Rebecca.
