Real clinicians. Real results

When it comes to hearing health, Australians want expertise and advice from their hearing professionals.

New research by Kantar, commissioned by Specsavers Audiology, shows that medical recommendation remains the greatest reason Australians purchase hearing aids, with 62% of those surveyed saying that they purchased hearing aids on the recommendation of their audiology professional.

Yet some in the industry like to imply that Specsavers audiology professionals aren’t “real clinicians.”

Yet this couldn’t be further from the truth.

All Specsavers partners are experienced audiology professionals that hold both qualifications in the field and a high level of experience.

In fact, all our partners are required to undertake extensive clinical assessments and interviews before they can become partners.

Partner Rita Hou from Upper Mt Gravatt and Sunnybank says: “My confidence in the Specsavers brand was further consolidated after I went through the assessment process. The team is focused on ensuring all Specsavers partners have a high level of experience and expertise, which is then reflected in the high level of clinical practice that they deliver,” she says.

It’s a similar story from partner Peter Hoang, a partner at Specsavers Warrnambool and Mt Gambier.

“I first learned about Specsavers partnership when I was finishing my qualifications and was really interested in becoming a partner, but Specsavers require both qualifications and experience. They’re focused on maintaining the highest clinical standards. It wasn’t until I had finished my degree and had experience under my belt that the time was right to become a partner – and it was definitely an opportunity worth waiting for!”

At Specsavers, we’re about doing right by our customers, that’s why all our partners are highly experienced clinicians.

And by taking care of all the back-end aspects of running your own business – from finance, payroll, and marketing, to fit-out and supply chain, our partners can focus on what they do best – providing their expertise and care to their partners.
