Ask Specsavers Audiology Partner Bernice Ang what she most enjoys about her practice at Specsavers Oakleigh Central, and she’ll tell you it’s the focus on customer care.

“Hearing loss has such an impact on people’s quality of life, it effects their communication, lifestyle and relationships with family and friends, which can really impact mental health too.

“Which is why as an audiologist, to be able to make a difference in customers’ lives and provide a way to be more included in conversations and everyday life, it is such a rewarding experience.”

An Audiologist for 11 years, Bernice joined Specsavers on the recommendation of former colleagues and hasn’t looked back.

“For me, establishing a strong local practice was very important, I wanted to be recognised as the go-to Audiologist in the Oakleigh community, providing great, patient-focused care.

“I’ve been supported in achieving that and more since joining Specsavers.

‘I’m a busy mum of two kids under eight, however Specsavers offers me the opportunity to run my own practice, yet still be part of a team, working hand-in-hand with the Optics business at Oakleigh Central.

“I can build my own team and utilising the Specsavers support model, provide a streamlined customer journey to my customers.”

“Since the day I sat down in an audiology clinic when I was a student and decided I wanted to become an Audiologist, through to now, my aim to help customers has never changed. And now with Specsavers scale and known brand awareness, I can help even more customers than ever.”
